Welcome to FLOORinSPEC.com!

FLOORinSPEC was created to bridge the gap in the flooring industry between the manufacturer’s technical services and the everyday needs of professionals involved with the specification, procurement, installation and oversight of commercial flooring products.

Too often, technical advice has been shaped by manufacturer’s directives or their commitments to certain products. The resulting information from unavoidably biased technical services has been somewhat stilted at best; at worst it has been misleading or simply inaccurate, especially when erroneously applied to the whole of the industry.

It is our goal to bring independent, fact-based, technical resources to a readily accessible level for all flooring, construction and architectural entities.  As our mission statement attests, “We supply critical data that can prevent schedule and cost overruns, decrease liability, and ensure successful flooring installation for any size project.”

We take pride in providing insight and documentation that is as free from bias as possible. We utilize published standards and guidelines, industry documents, peer-reviewed research and testing, and the latest advancements in forensic tools and techniques to guide our efforts in providing our clients with industry-best technical support for their flooring projects, large or small. At FLOORinSPEC, it is our company goal and my personal focus to provide a service unequaled by any other. Our job is not finished until our client’s expectations have been met or exceeded.

We invite you to experience the difference.
